Artist / Teacher / Manager
I'm Mike, born 1985 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I built an early career as a manager in a large retail chain, and quickly reached a demanding position in store management where I thrived for a while. When I moved to Finland to be with my wife in 2011, it was a fresh start, and a second chance at a career I was passionate about, not just good at. I'm a natural leader, but I've always been a creative at heart. Now, I've expanded my skill set by learning visual design, with a focus on 3D art and animation for the game industry. I'm supremely dedicated to my new path, quick to adapt, work well with people, and very accustomed to stress, deadlines, and responsibility.
I'm ready to bring multiple skill sets and proven professional skills to a creative team.
